Airwalk is entering the Indian market.
The brand, owned by Collective Licensing International (a subsidiary of Collective Brands Inc.), has entered a multiyear deal with manufacturing company Wiesner Worldwide Kreations to launch kids’ product.
Under the licensing agreement, Airwalk will debut a children’s footwear and apparel collection this summer in more than 35 national and regional format stores based in India.
Bruce Pettet, president and CEO of Collective Licensing International, said that teaming up with Wiesner Worldwide will help bolster Airwalk’s presence in the global market.
“Wiesner’s talented design and development teams — and their extensive experience in the industry — make them the ideal partner for the Airwalk brand in India,” Pettet said in a written statement
