Roberto Cavalli knows how to make almost anything sexy, and his take on fall’s menswear-inspired trend made for lust-worthy loafers and ankle boots. Paired with everything from sheer animal-print harem pants to full-length chiffon gowns, Cavalli’s tassel loafers featured a layered leather platform and stacked wooden heels. The ankle boots, though, stole the show. Wrought in a variety of materials, from shiny black pony hair to matte gray croc, the designer’s lace-up kiltie ankle boots added a dose of tailored sophistication to an otherwise bohemian-leaning collection. Playing into the burgundy color trend, which has gained steam on the Milan runways, this particular burnished leather style was the piece de resistance.
