The brand, which debuted men’s shoes for fall ’11, said it will take a two-story space in Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade shopping center and offer the complete assortment of Jimmy Choo men’s shoes, which consists of dress shoes, boots and sneakers.
A color scheme of gray, black and silver is meant to give the space a modern look evocative of a 1960s Mayfair playboy, according to a press release. Wood, flannel and pewter hardware add detail.
“I want it to feel as though you are walking into a gentleman’s club, with all the luxurious appointments and comforts,” Tamara Mellon, founder and chief creative officer, said in a written statement. “It’s a mod update on an English men’s smoking lounge.”
