First up, over the weekend, Harrys launched its first shop-in-shop inside the new Hankyu men’s flagship store in the Ginza district of Tokyo. Simultaneously, another space opened in Hankyu’s Osaka store.
“Collaborating with AOI’s top strategists to direct and maximize the brand’s potential here has been a great experience,” said Harrys of London CEO Giuseppe Bonfiglio, in a written statement. “To open shops with Hankyu in Tokyo and Osaka is a significant milestone in our international expansion.”
Harrys already has two standalone stores in London, and one in Kuwait.
In other news, the brand promoted Claire Marino to U.S. president earlier this month. Marino, who is based in New York, previously held executive sales, marketing and merchandising positions with Lambertson Truex, Anne Klein, Prada USA and Barneys New York.
