Jimmy Choo’s New York flagship has a new look.
The British luxury brand unveiled last Friday its expanded and renovated store on Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan. “This was where the Jimmy Choo story started in America nearly 15 years ago,” outgoing CEO Joshua Schulman said in a written statement. “We always considered the store to be our jewel box and now we are thrilled to welcome our loyal clientele back to a completely transformed store.”
The three-level store, which takes inspiration from a 1940s boudoir, features tufted seating, crystal-drop chandeliers, frosted glass walls and Lucite tables. Keeping with Choo’s signature colors, the interior is painted in ivory, pale rose, lilac and sand.
Jimmy Choo has two other shops in New York. Worldwide, the firm operates more than 130 store locations.
