Giuseppe Zanotti is ramping up his Japanese presence.
Zanotti, along with parent company Vicini SpA, have announced a deal with Bluebell Japan to distribute the brand in the country.
Bluebell will manage distribution in both multibranded stores and shop-in-shops.
“Our partnership with Bluebell is a significant step toward the development of a stronger presence for our Giuseppe Zanotti brand in Japan,” said the designer. “It will help us be closer to our customers there, by leveraging Bluebell’s expertise in this demanding and highly strategic market.”
Serge Grebert, president of Bluebell, said in a statement that Japanese have a particular affinity for Zanotti’s designs, and he looked forward to adding additional product categories outside of footwear.
“[Zanotti’s] stylish designs are recognized worldwide for their highest level of creativity and craftsmanship,” Grebert said. “His shoes are particularly appreciated by the sophisticated Japanese customer. We also look forward to the full development of the brand’s potential in additional product lines beyond shoes.”
