PLV Studio Inc. announced today it has appointed Scott Home as president and COO, a newly created position for the women’s footwear and accessories company, which encompasses brands Pour La Victoire and Kelsi Dagger.
Home’s background includes stints at Consolidated Shoe Co., where he served as president of the Palladium brand for four years, as well as Global Brand Marketing Inc., overseeing national sales and helping to build Diesel’s footwear business. Home also has worked at Dr. Martens, Nordstrom and Nike.
“We are extremely excited to add Scott to the PLV team as we continue to experience such strong growth with our amazing retail partners,” PLV co-founder and CEO Jay Adoni said in a statement. “[His] experience building so many other successful brands will be an enormous asset to the Pour La Victoire and Kelsi Dagger brands.”
Adoni will continue to lead the company, alongside co-founder and EVP David Giordano.
Home said in a statement that he saw “amazing future potential” for the company’s brands. “I’m really thrilled about joining the team to help them take this business to the next level,” he added.
PLV also announced a partnership with California-based private equity investment firm VMG Partners, which will provide capital and operating resources. Additionally, VMG’s partner, LBI Entertainment, will help ramp up PLV’s marketing and branding over the next year.
“We’re very enthusiastic about adding the leadership of Scott and the resources of VMG and LBI Entertainment as we continue to build our brands and accelerate our marketing efforts in 2012,” Giordano said.
