Industry veteran Donald Carl Plush Sr., of Prescott Valley, Ariz., died on Feb. 25 of complications resulting from the flu. He was 71.
Plush’s 55-year career was launched at Kinney Shoes. He later entered the wholesale business, working for brands that included Red Ball, Revelations, Street Cars and Laurevan. He also served as a past president of the former Mountain States Shoe Travelers. Until his passing, Plush managed The Shoe Box in Prescott, Ariz.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Edwards-Plush; sons Donald Plush Jr. and Jeffrey Plush; four brothers; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established in his name at Wells Fargo Bank.
