Kurt Geiger has a new license.
The London-based shoe company has signed a licensing deal to design, develop and distribute a shoe collection for Lipsy, a U.K.-based fashion brand.
Slated to launch for spring ’12, the new collection will be available for wholesale, as well as sold through Kurt Geiger’s retail network and at Lipsy stores. The line will target the 16-to-30-year-old market.
“It is a natural progression for Kurt Geiger to explore new licensing opportunities to enable us to increase our brand portfolio and international retail presence,“ said Andrew Lee, director of Wholesale, Licensing and Franchise for Kurt Geiger, which has been licensing since 2007, in a statement. “Lipsy is highly recognized for creating fashion-led product at affordable prices. This, paired with our knowledge in design, supply chain and distribution, will lead to a successful and ongoing partnership.”
