The Stockholm-based retailer has partnered with footwear brand Swedish Hasbeens, to produce three exclusive styles of wooden-soled clogs. They will be available on April 20.
“I love the genuine feeling you get from Hasbeens, from the wood and the leather, and also how they take something traditional and Swedish and make it contemporary and modern,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s head of design, in a statement. “These Hasbeens for H&M fit perfectly with the ’70s bohemian look that’s so important this coming season.”
The styles will include a wooden wedge available in cream, tan and black; a heeled summer sandal in cream and red; and a lace-up peep-toe wedge with snake leather details. The selection will retail for $60 to $70 in 150 H&M stores worldwide.
“We want to make fashion more fun, creative and friendly to both the environment and people,” said Emy Blixt, Swedish Hasbeens co-founder and designer, in a statement. “[This collaboration is] a fantastic opportunity to spread the idea of [the brand] and make these shoes available to more people around the globe.”
