ENK International struck a deal with White, a Milan-based fashion trade show producer, to bring Italian brands to the American market.
The partnership will start with Coterie in February 2012 at a to-be-announced venue. More than 50 women’s apparel, accessories and footwear brands are slated to exhibit through White. The two organizations will also introduce Coterie@White, with Coterie designers appearing in Milan in 2012.
“This is a game-changer in terms of accessibility and responsiveness to retail buyers’ needs. ENK is committed to growing globally by bringing collections to the U.S., as well as delivering American brands to other countries such as we did with ENKChina. Procuring exclusive agreements with other trade shows is forging the way,“ ENK Chairwoman Elyse Kroll said in a written statement.
Additionally, after next year’s Coterie launch, the two organizations will introduce White Men at ENKNY, and the Milan producer will participate in the next ENKChina event in March 2012.
“Our goal is to make it easy for Italian and international brands to expand to the American marketplace,” Maximiliano Bizzi, owner and founder of White, said in a statement. “ENK is the ideal partner for us because we share the same vision in fashion and business.”
