Boise, Idaho-based wellness brand Joya is introducing two slip-resistant looks targeting the duty and work markets. The men’s Cruiser and women’s Ascona styles, both in black leather, feature a 3D mesh lining, OrthoLite footbed and the brand’s active air pump technology in the sole for added comfort. The $240 shoes are available for immediate delivery, with expanded distribution set for February.
Arch support manufacturer and retailer Good Feet and wellness footwear brand Tenevis, both based in Carlsbad, Calif., have partnered to create a co-branded collection of shoes designed to accommodate a wide range of Good Feet arch supports. Included in the initial offering is the La Jolla style, an athletic-inspired design; and the Cardiff walking shoe. Available for men and women, the Cardiff retails for $119 and the La Jolla for $199. Both feature slip-resistant outsoles and are slated for October delivery.
This summer, Shanghai-based running brand Warrior Footwear teamed with retailer Patta Amsterdam and German pen company Staedtler to create 400 limited-edition hand-drawn shoes in black, red and blue. The plimsoll canvas laceup shoe features pen scratches done with Staedtler permanent markers, making each pair unique. The shoes come in custom packaging and include a writing kit. The Patta x Warrior x Staedtler mini collection retails for 50 euros, or about $68, at Patta and at Warriorfootwear.com.
