ANCI, the National Italian Footwear Association, is rolling out two initiatives to highlight the country’s storied tradition and know-how in the footwear industry.
The first is a new promotional campaign, called Taste Beauty, that aims to inspire consumer confidence in the style and quality of Italian-made footwear by displaying images of a tower of mozzarella cheese, a fresh tomato, a plume of basil and a shoe.
The campaign will be used in both print and online advertising to coincide with the principal fairs organized by ANCI.
In addition, ANCI has renewed the fashion section of its website, Ancionline.com. The section now contains pages that not only monitor international fashion trends but are also updated constantly with news.
The section is organized into six different tabs — Fashion Trends, Reloaded, Reports From Cities, Pick of the Month, Opinions, Wannabe Designers and Upcoming Designers — with its content managed by fashion industry professionals and experts, and curated to offer up-to-date information for the Italian footwear industry.
