Adidas Group named Harm Ohlmeyer its new chief e-commerce officer, effective April 1, the company announced Thursday.
Currently COO for e-commerce, Ohlmeyer, 42, replaces Christophe Bezu, who will leave the company on April 30.
Ohlmeyer will be responsible for further growing the Herzogenaurach, Germany-based company’s global e-commerce business. He will report to Herbert Hainer, CEO of the Adidas Group.
In related news, Colin Currie, former SVP of marketing and sales for the Adidas Group in Greater China, succeeded Bezu as managing director of Greater China. This change went into effect on Jan. 1. Currie is now spearheading the return to growth for the company in that region.
