The two brands, which previously joined forces on a denim collaboration in 2008, will debut on Jan. 20 five classic Adidas footwear styles that have been redesigned by Diesel. Only 10,000 pairs will be available globally.
“After the amazing denim collaboration, when Diesel’s know-how was infused by Adidas’ spirit, we are now starting a new chapter of the partnership: The heritage of the two brands will come together, applying our spirit on Adidas classic kicks,” said Stefano Rosso, son of Diesel founder Renzo Rosso and head of strategic brand alliances for the company.
Silhouettes in the collection include the Stan Smith Special, featuring a “puzzle-like” design with patches made of camel leather, and the Forum Mid Diesel Txt with “reflector touches” on the stitching, straps and eyelets.
The shoes will be available at Diesel stores and on Diesel.com.
