J. Shoes is taking a clean-cut approach for spring ’11, emphasizing shape over detail. Its latest collection puts a classic spin on boots and oxfords, using distressed leathers and leather soles for an artisan touch. The retro-inspired designs are a fresh alternative to slicker sneaker silhouettes. The line retails from $100 to $215 at Soula in Brooklyn, N.Y., Fred Segal Feet in Los Angeles and Boyd’s in Philadelphia.
