After a soft launch for fall ’10, New York-based brand Unsensored is rolling out a larger collection for spring. The expanded line includes 40 to 50 styles of dress heels, fashion athletics, flat sandals, wedges, clogs and spring booties. The trend-driven juniors’ brand will feature glitter, patent and canvas, as well as studs and grommets as embellishments, and will retail for $39 to $79. The line is targeted at Journeys, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and Shoe Carnival, and has already been picked up by some specialty stores and boutiques.
Erika Wilson is entering the foldable flats market with a new line called Purse Flats. The flats will be sold individually or with a leather clutch featuring a special pocket for the flats and a dust bag for heels. For spring ’11, the flats are available in gold, silver, black, chocolate brown and white to target the bridal market, and the matching clutches are offered in matte or patent trim and a variety of embellished buttons. Sold separately, the flats will retail for $85, while the matching clutch and flats sets will be sold for $125 at Purseflats.com.
