Pompano Beach, Fla.-based Spring Footwear is offering health-conscious consumers a new way to get rocking this fall with the introduction of Walk ’n’ Roll, a series of rocker-bottom styles targeting both the uniform and mainstream markets. Keeping health care and food service workers in mind, all footwear in the collection features lightweight, multidensity outsoles that are oil and slip resistant. The duty series, available in black and white, will hit stores in April and retail for $90. The companion lifestyle looks will follow in August for $90 to $109.
Easy Does It
Tapping its expertise in the wellness market with the Klasfit series of diabetic footwear, Klas Shoes of Bedford, Mass., is launching Stroll-Eez, a series of health-oriented looks designed to enhance posture and complement the natural walking motion. The debut spring ’10 collection of men’s and women’s sandals features anatomically designed footbeds with built-in heel cups and metatarsal and arch support. Closed-toe and athletic styles will be added for fall. The sandals, retailing from $69 to $89, are set for March delivery through comfort channels. The fall collection of closed-up looks will retail for $79 to $99.
