Jack Minuk, one of the industry’s most revered retail executives, announced Monday that he is retiring on March 15.
A 28-year veteran of Nordstrom, Minuk has overseen the retailer’s shoe division since 2001, serving as EVP and GMM since 2005. He began his career in 1981 in women’s shoes at Nordstrom’s downtown Seattle store, and quickly climbed the ranks in various buying, managerial and merchandising roles across the chain.
Under Minuk’s leadership, the footwear division has been one of the company’s best-performing segments.
