The limited collection will be available in October, with a wider offering set for spring ’11 (both team product for everyday play and signature styles designed with Above The Rim’s professional athletes are planned).
The line is part of a new push for the brand, which is managed by Collective Licensing International, a subsidiary of Collective Brands Inc. This year, the 21-year-old brand will be re-launched with a contemporary spin. NBA player Martell Webster, shooting guard for the Portland Trailblazers, recently signed on to work with Above The Rim and ACI to design and launch his own signature style.
