On Timberland Pro’s new site, Stayonyourfeet.com, visitors can search for sector-specific jobs, such as construction and manufacturing, via CareerBuilder.com. The site also features information about product by the Stratham, N.H.-based brand, including its Endurance workboot, which uses an anti-fatigue technology.
Guests can also compete for free product. In the “Toughest Man” contest, consumers can enter to win by describing their toughest day on the job. A weekly winner will be selected, and at the end of the contest, a grand-prize winner will receive a $1,000 American Express gift card and pair of workboots, as well as four pairs for friends.
Timberland will support the initiative through social media channels such as Twitter (@TimberlandPro), Facebook and YouTube, in addition to local market radio promotions and a TV campaign.
Timberland Pro Endurance boots were launched in fall ’08.
