The event, a professional cycling road race, features elite professional teams racing from Sacramento, Calif., to San Diego County. The nine-day race kicked off on Feb. 14 and will end on Feb. 22.
According to a company statement, MBT was chosen as a Tour sponsor due to its wide range of fitness, health, therapeutic and sports applications.
MBT participation in the event includes exposure at the finish of each stage of the race, with specially created video spots and public announcements from the race booth. It will also have an online presence on the official race Web site, and key race staff members will be outfitted in MBT footwear.
The company also will have a presence at the tour’s Lifestyle Festival, hosted at the finish lines of each race stage. There, MBT Pro Trainers will be available to meet with visitors to discuss the product. In addition, select styles will be sold at the festival.
