In her new position Malaney will create marketing partnerships with major brands such as Ugg, Merrell, Adidas, Dansko and New Balance. She also will be responsible for building joint marketing plans that exhibit the latest in footwear fashion, including online videos, blog posts, e-mail campaigns and on-site placements.
Malaney joins the Seattle-based e-tailer with past experience as a merchandising analyst and buyer for Kohl’s Corp.
Black Diamond Names President
Black Diamond Footwear announced Tuesday that Rob Mills was named president of the brand.
The former VP of sales at Rocky Brands will work closely with Black Diamond CEO Alan Lunder to focus on widening the company’s range into other categories of protective footwear.
