NEW YORK — Stuart Weitzman continues to roll out international retail stores, opening in luxury resort locations throughout the world.
The company bowed its first stores in St. Barths, French West Indies, as well as in Athens, Greece, in the 40,000-sq.-ft. luxe shopping center The Golden Hall.
“Greece is a country with a sophisticated clientele and a proven appetite for luxury goods,” said CEO and founder Stuart Weitzman in a statement. “I know that our brand’s product offerings will entice the fashionable woman of Athens.”
The company also bowed its second store in Mexico in the city of Guadalajara, in luxury shopping mall Centro Comercial Andares.
The stores’ designs feature the signature gray and ice tones with ribbon-like shelving, the mark of Italian Architect Fabio Novembre, who collaborates with Weitzman on all the company’s retail stores.
