LOS ANGELES — A month after former Reebok executive and Lululemon Athletica chief Bob Meers took over the reigns as CEO of Taryn Rose International, the company announced on Thursday that Michele Pascoe had been named CFO.
Prior to joining the footwear firm, Pascoe had served as CFO and COO at Rachel Ashwell Designs/Shabby Chic. She also worked in finance positions at Warnaco Apparel Group for 18 years.
The news comes on the heels of last month’s announcement that Meers and his wife, Miriam Kelly, had taken a stake in the company and would co-manage the business.
Meers told FN that Pascoe was a strong addition to the company’s management team. “Michele’s 18 years at Warnaco Apparel Group make her the perfect partner with me to drive our financial priorities,” he said.
For her part, Pascoe said she looked forward to the challenges ahead. “I’m thrilled with this opportunity to work at Taryn Rose International, given the company’s heritage of innovation and creativity,” she said.
As previously reported, founder Taryn Rose resigned from her namesake company last March amid conflict regarding the future direction of the company.
