Dodge will oversee all business operations, product development, marketing and sales initiatives at Patagonia footwear. Dodge was most recently a GM of GoLite Footwear at Timberland Co.
“I’ve known and worked closely with Bill for many years in the outdoor and ski industries,” said Patagonia CEO Casey Sheehan in a statement. “His deep footwear experience, love of outdoor sports, great integrity and sense of humor make him a perfect fit for this position.”
Dodge replaces Craig Throne, who will become VP of global marketing for Wolverine World Wide’s Outdoor Group, which includes Merrell and Patagonia footwear. Throne will focus on global brand management, leading product line managers and marketing initiatives.
