NEW YORK — Oboz has a new financial head.
Earlier this week, the Bozeman, Mont.-based outdoor brand named Tim Tripp to the position of VP of finance, effective today.
Previously, Tripp served as director of finance at fishing product-maker Simms, also based in Bozeman. During his eight years there, Tripp oversaw all finance, accounting, IT and human resources.
“Tim can see Oboz through growth and transitions from small to big,” John Connelly, Oboz’s founder, said in a statement. “His experience in finance and beyond will be essential to our smooth operations and efficiency, which in the end benefits our retailers.”
For his part, Tripp said: “I’m thrilled to join Oboz on the ground floor and be able to see Oboz flourish.”
