NEW YORK — Nike Inc. has named Cindy Davis to the role of president of Nike Golf. Davis will replace 28-year company veteran Bob Wood.
On Friday, the Beaverton, Ore.-based athletic company said Wood is slated to “take on additional responsibilities within the Nike brand,” although Nike did not disclose any further details.
Meanwhile, Davis, 46, will be responsible for driving market leadership and growth for all aspects of Nike Golf. She most recently served as GM of Nike Golf USA.
