NEW YORK — Wolverine World Wide Inc., based in Rockford, Mich., has appointed Christopher Hufnagel as president of retail. He will be responsible for all direct-to-consumer operations, including e-commerce, and report to James Zwiers, SVP of Wolverine.
Hufnagel, 36, was most recently VP of retail for Under Armour, where he was responsible for the development, execution and rollout of the company’s retail strategy. Prior to Under Armour, he was VP of brand store experience for Gap and held various leadership roles at Abercrombie & Fitch.
In a company statement, Zwiers said, “Chris Hufnagel’s strategic and operational expertise and extensive experience in brand building and growth at world-class retailers will be instrumental in leading the expansion of Wolverine’s direct-to-consumer business on a global basis.”
