MBT Taps Ex-Timberland Exec

NEW YORK — In an effort to enhance its global marketing and leadership, MBT has appointed ex-Timberland COO Kenneth Pucker as its interim CEO, replacing Richard Litzel, who has stepped down to focus on growth in the Germanic market. The firm has also appointed Marc Estor as VP of sales and marketing.

Both appointments are effective at the firm’s Romanshorn, Switzerland-based office.

Pucker most recently held the COO position at Timberland Co. for 15 years.

Estor previously served as global division director at Ecco, overseeing design, development, sourcing and allocation. He began his career at Adidas in 1995.

“We are very excited to welcome both Ken and Marc to the MBT team. With their leadership and extraordinary expertise in athletic footwear and the brown shoe business, we look forward to increased momentum and even more success,” Chairman Hermann Oberschneider said in a company statement.
