NEW YORK — Nike Inc.’s Cole Haan unit has named Michael Capiraso chief marketing officer, effective immediately.
While also serving on Cole Haan’s executive committee, Capiraso will develop and manage all aspects of Cole Haan’s global marketing and communications and will report directly to CEO James Seuss.
Capiraso was most recently CEO of North America for Prism, a sports and entertainment agency partnered with communications services company WPP. Prior to that, Capiraso also held the positions of VP of marketing and executive creative director at the National Football League and VP of creative and broadcast at Calvin Klein.
“At a time when the company is expanding its reach worldwide, Michael’s experience with the NFL and Calvin Klein will bring global perspective and creativity to the position, while providing an ideal fit with Cole Haan’s emphasis on the marriage of fashion and innovation,” Seuss said in a written statement.
